The Openmind Winter School is a new regional initiative aimed at fostering the next generation of reinforcement learning researchers and practitioners. This inaugural event, co-organized by Openmind Research Institute, UTAR, Universiti Malaya (UM), and AI Malaysia, with support from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), AI Singapore, and the National AI Office (NAIO) of Malaysia, will feature lectures, mentoring, and discussions led by top experts — including Prof. Richard Sutton.
